Developer Creates a Physical Panic Button to Sell All Your Crypto

If you are a scalper or you are one of those traders who always live with the fear of losing everything and at the minimum FUD hurry to seek refuge in the beautiful world of stablecoins or fiat money, you must be aware that the volatility of the cryptomarket is not necessarily a pleasant ground for those of your tribe.

However, Ilker Dagli, a system, and network administrator at Near East University in North Cyprus has created a device that could make life more enjoyable for this type of people, and even help professional traders who for one reason or another decide at one time to sell all of their assets.

The device couldn’t be more obvious. A Big, red button that the trader presses in a moment of panic or impossibility, to do precisely one thing: Sell all your crypto.

According to Motherboard, Dagli said he created the unique device to address the complaints of many investors who needed to make transactions in times of high volatility but failed either because of human error or Exchange errors:

“I decided to invent this button because I saw lots of investors of cryptocurrency [with] complaints about exchange issues, especially when the price falls very quick. As you know, cryptocurrency markets are so volatile …
I had some coins and orders on my Binance account when I pressed the button it immediately canceled all my orders and sold all my coins … So I became ‘safe.’ Hassle free. No need to login to exchange, cancel all orders manually then sell all my coins one by one… Just press the emergency button!

This big, red button is not Dagli’s only unusual creation. Last year, he created a literal valve that throttles internet access. The device works just like a valve to control how much water flows through a pipe, only that its invention controls the flow of data according to a handle controlled by the operator.

Dagli commented to the Motherboard team that he merely wanted to create an easy way to solve this problem.

“There were some software solutions which simplifies it … But there wasn’t any hardware solution… And it should be as easy as our grandmothers can use.

According to its creator, the button will work not only with Binance but with other exchanges that have an open API and can be configured to sell the cryptocurrencies in any other crypto assets besides USDT.
